Ali Abdel Latif
Ali Abdel Latif is the founder and CEO of multiple national and international enterprises specializing in various sectors, including real estate development construction, general contracting, and the food industry. He holds a BBA in management from The American College in London.
He’s the founder and chairman of Food Processing and Packaging Company (F.P.P.) since 1990, specializing in the production and distribution of Lebanese ethnic food and beverages worldwide under the “Jana Loubnan” brand. Abdel Latif is also the founder & chairman of Statumen for Contracting as well as Real Estate Development & Promotion (REDPRO). Additionally, he is a partner and board member at BLUERING, a specialized enterprise providing banking software solutions.
Abdel Latif has been actively involved in various community and organizational endeavors. He contributed to the development of AFDC (Association for Forest Development & Conservation), served as a member of the Bchamoun Municipality council from 1998 to 2004, and held the position of President at the Al Akhaa’ Al Ahli Aley Sports Club from 2009 to 2018. He’s serving as an elected member of the board of trustees and administrative board at AWMV (Ayn Wazayn Medical Village) since 2008 and at Al Jabal Hospital since 2012.
Antoine Haddad
Antoine Haddad is an academic, consultant, social and political activist. He currently serves as the Vice President of Saint George University of Beirut and was previously a Professor at the Lebanese University since 1982.
Dr. Haddad holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Paris-6 University, where he also attended MSc courses in Economics and Economics of Energy. In parallel to his academic career, Haddad has offered professional advisory services to various UN agencies, national governments, international and national NGOs, focusing on Socio-Economic Development, Public Policies, Social Integration, Conflict Resolution, and Interfaith Dialogue.
He is a founding member of the Lebanese Association of Democratic Elections (LADE) and Democratic Renewal Movement (DRM). Additionally, he is a columnist and frequent speaker in local and foreign media, and author and co-author of several books.
Malek Mroueh
Malek Mrowa is a distinguished figure in the realms of media and community development. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the American University in Beirut in 1980. His educational journey commenced at Brummana High School from 1964 to 1977.
Mrowa's career path led him to become a partner and General Manager at Al Hayat Newspaper in London and The Daily Star in Beirut, enriching his experience in publishing and media. He currently holds the position of Chairman and developer of Parks and Resorts, notably owning and operating Waves Aqua Park.
Additionally, Mrowa presides over Print Technologies, a specialized newspaper printing operation.
Furthermore, he is a member of the board of directors of Catertainment, operators of Lina’s Sandwiches Franchise in Lebanon, and Quantum Communications, associated with Saatchi & Saatchi – Lebanon. Moreover, Mrowa acts as the President of the Samir Kassir Foundation and Skeyes, an NGO dedicated to monitoring intellectual and press freedoms in the Levant area. As well as being a founding member and the secretary General of the Democratic renewal movement.
Rindala Beydoun
Rindala Beydoun is the founder and managing partner of the regional boutique law firm Tribonian Law Advisors (TLA), specializing in mergers, acquisitions, private equity, and a variety of corporate transactions. She earned her J.D. and L.L.M degree in International Law from Duke University School of Law, USA.
Beydoun is recommended by The Legal 500 for M&A in the UAE and ranked by Chambers Global as a leading lawyer for Business in Corporate/Commercial (UAE). She has also been featured in “Those Who Inspire” - Lebanon edition, as one of the top 59 inspiring people in Lebanon.
She is actively involved in various organizations and initiatives, serving as a member of the Board of the Lebanese International Finance Executives (LIFE), the Board of Trustees of Amlieh Philanthropic Association, and the Human Rights Watch Beirut Committee. Additionally, she is a member of the Executive Women Group, Baalbeck International Festival Association, State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association, and the International Bar Association.
Ziyad Baroud
Ziyad Baroud is a prominent Lebanese civil servant and civil society activist. He served as the Minister of Interior and Municipalities from 2008 to 2011 under two consecutive cabinets in both Fuad Siniora and Saad Hariri's governments.
Baroud's tenure as minister is noted for being one of the most influential roles in the country. He is celebrated for his abstention from feudal politics, focusing instead on strengthening Lebanese civil society and institutions. Baroud's legacy includes the commendable execution of Lebanon's 2009 elections, which earned Lebanon the First Prize of the United Nations Public Service Award.
Throughout his career, Baroud has received numerous accolades, including the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) Charles T. Manatt Democracy Award in 2010, the French Legion of Honor (Légion d’Honneur) as Chevalier, and the Grand Cross of the Spanish Order of Civil Merit for his exceptional services.
